After Giving Birth, All My Beast Ex-Husbands Suddenly Want Me Back

Chapter 302: Mating mark

Chapter 302: Mating mark

"Yina, you..." Shania stared in disbelief.

She hadn’t expected Yina to truly get involved with that male. She had clearly heard something about becoming mates.

Rosen’s beautiful eyes flashed with anger. "What are you two doing here?"

Wasn’t this male Momo’s biological father? Why was he secretly meeting another female?

Nina looked at Idir and Yina together, unable to describe the strange bitterness rising in her chest.

"Sorry for disturbing you." The moment the words fell from her lips, she turned and hurried away.

Shania shot Yina a furious glare before immediately chasing after Nina. Rosen swept a cold gaze over Idir and Yina as well before quickly following behind.

Only then did Idir finally react.

Just as he moved to pursue Nina, Yina stepped directly into his path.

"Why are you chasing after her?" she demanded anxiously. "Nina doesn’t even like you!"

"Move." Idir’s voice was icy and sharp.

"If Nina liked you, she wouldn’t have left," Yina snapped, both angry and desperate.

She had already offered him such incredible treatment. Why did he still insist on going after Nina?

Dark mist slowly spread through Idir’s eyes as his knuckles cracked ominously.

"Get. Out. Of. My. Way."

"I won’t." Yina spread her arms stubbornly. "There’s no point chasing after her anymore. Nina saw you alone with me in Lover’s Forest. She’ll never want you again."

Her voice sharpened. "Females hate disloyal males."

The moment those words left her mouth, something inside Idir snapped.

A violent aura exploded outward from him. The air around him became terrifyingly unstable as dark markings began creeping from the corners of his eyes.

Yina finally sensed the horrifying brutality radiating from him. Fear instantly flooded her.

She tried to retreat, but her legs had already gone weak.

Suddenly, sharp pain shot through her throat. An invisible force wrapped around her neck as black energy constricted her airway.

Idir’s gaze looked colder than eternal ice.

"Say that again."

Yina’s face rapidly turned red as she clawed desperately at her throat. For the first time in her life, she truly felt death approaching.

Meanwhile, Nina walked quickly through the forest path, her thoughts in complete disarray.

Her emotions felt tangled and unfamiliar.

What was wrong with her? Why had seeing Idir with another female made her chest ache so strangely?

Could it be that she...

Rosen and Shania hurried after her, immediately sensing her shaken mood.

Rosen looped an arm through Nina’s. "Nina, Mother will take you somewhere fun later."

She had already decided––she would bring Nina to meet a whole group of exceptionally handsome males to cheer her up.

Shania quietly took Nina’s other arm without speaking.

Guilt filled her heart. This was all her fault. She should’ve warned Nina earlier. She truly thought Yina would give up eventually. She never imagined she would do something this shameless.

From now on, Shania no longer wanted anything to do with her.

As they continued walking, a sudden chill swept through the air.

Nina’s hands trembled.

That energy... Without hesitation, she released Rosen and Shania and rushed back toward the forest.

The moment she rounded the corner, she saw Idir standing there, black markings spreading from the corners of his eyes.

And nearby, Yina struggled at death’s edge.

Rosen and Shania, who had followed behind, were both horrified.

A male actually dared to harm a female?

Nina hurried forward immediately.

"Idir, calm down. Let her go."

Killing a female was a grave crime. Besides... weren’t they supposedly meeting in secret just moments ago? How had things suddenly turned into a murder scene?

Idir’s eyes flickered as he turned toward Nina. But he still didn’t release Yina.

"Nina," he said hoarsely, grievance thick in his voice, "I didn’t."

"Hm?" Nina blinked in confusion.

Didn’t what?

"I wasn’t secretly meeting this bad female," Idir said quickly, eyes fixed on her. "She impersonated you and tricked me into coming here."

Nina froze for a moment before finally understanding.

Then she laughed softly in relief. So that was what happened.

She reached out and gently held Idir’s hand.

"Be good," she coaxed softly. "Let her go first."

If he didn’t let go soon, Nina was genuinely afraid Yina might die.

Reluctantly, Idir loosened his hold.

Yina immediately collapsed to the ground, trembling violently, terror filling her eyes.

Nina exchanged a glance with Rosen, and Rosen hurried over to help Yina up.

In order to secretly meet Idir alone, Yina hadn’t brought any of her mates with her. She had never imagined a male would actually dare harm a female.

Idir cast Yina one final icy glance before wrapping his arms tightly around Nina.

"Nina," he muttered coldly, "let’s not stay near disgusting beastmen."

Before Nina could respond, he swept her into his arms and leapt away.

"Nina!" Rosen cried out anxiously.

But within moments, the two of them had already vanished from sight.

Panicking, Rosen shoved Yina toward Shania and immediately ran off to find Odian and the others.

The mates had already been waiting a long time outside the forest. When Nina still hadn’t returned, unease gradually spread among them.

Aviel frowned toward the forest entrance. "Why isn’t Nina back yet? Should we just go inside and look for her?"

Odian’s expression darkened slightly. "I’ll contact her first."

He activated the communication crystal and tried reaching Nina, but no response came.

He did it again. Still nothing.

A flicker of panic crossed his eyes.

"She’s not answering. Split up and search."

The mates’ expressions changed instantly. If Nina wasn’t answering, then something had definitely happened.

Just as they were about to rush into the forest, they saw Rosen running toward them.

"Hurry... hurry and find Nina," Rosen gasped breathlessly. "Idir... he took her away."

Odian’s gaze sharpened immediately.

"What happened? Why would Idir take Nina?"

A terrible suspicion surfaced in his mind. Had Idir’s curse flared up again?

Rosen quickly explained everything she had witnessed.

The mates exchanged grim looks. It really was the curse again.

Odian immediately placed Mimi into Kith’s arms.

"Kith, Mino, you two take care of the cubs and bring them home first. We’ll go find Nina."

Kith nodded as he accepted the child. "Alright. Contact us immediately once you find her."

Odian nodded before turning back to Rosen. "Which direction did they go?"

Rosen pointed without hesitation. The mates instantly disappeared in pursuit.

Watching their retreating figures, Rosen silently prayed.

Please bring Nina back safely...

The version of Idir she had seen earlier had been terrifying. She couldn’t shake the feeling that something about this entire situation was deeply wrong.

Meanwhile, Shania half-dragged the terrified Yina out of the forest.

The moment they emerged, Shania dropped her unceremoniously onto the side of the road before collapsing onto a stone bench herself, panting heavily.

Seriously... She was exhausted.

Rosen glanced coldly at Yina but didn’t send her home. Instead, she brought her directly back to her own residence.

At the same time, she quietly warned Shania not to speak of today’s events.

Shania immediately thumped her chest in promise. She absolutely wouldn’t tell anyone.

Kith and the others looked worriedly toward the direction Odian and the others had disappeared before finally taking the cubs home.

Elsewhere, Idir carried Nina through the city.

After flying for only a short while, he landed, then continued moving rapidly through winding streets and narrow alleys, weaving deeper and deeper into the city as if searching for something.

As for the locator crystal, the moment it began sounding, Idir had confiscated it immediately.

"Idir," Nina finally asked softly, "where are you taking me?"

Idir lowered his head and kissed her gently.

But he still didn’t answer.

It wasn’t that he didn’t want to answer. He simply... didn’t dare.

Eventually, after countless twists and turns, they stopped in front of a simple, unremarkable house.

Nina looked curiously at the door.

Did Idir know someone in the city?

Idir stepped forward and knocked. A moment later, the door creaked open. A male stood there looking mildly impatient.

"What do you want?"

Idir swept a cold glance over him before speaking flatly.

"A mating mark."

Nina’s beautiful eyes widened instantly.

Idir had actually brought her here... to receive a mating mark.
