Chapter 1062: Creational Clash
Chapter 1062: Creational Clash
Chapter 1062
Bang—! Bang—! Bang—!
Grey’s body tore through the buildings with violent force, the wooden structures giving way in an instant.
He found himself in the middle of another building, blood oozing from his nose and now reducing to a mere trickle, though it was no less painful.
His body throbbed in agony, but he wasn’t about to let the pain weaken him.
’Ah... this is crazy. Even in my breakthrough form, he is still tossing me around. What sort of a monster am I battling with? Do I have to use my domain before I defeat him? Will he even allow me to use it? In order to deploy it, I need a substantial amount of space.’
"....."
Slowly lifting himself up, he staggered for a moment with blood falling down his face and onto the ground.
He clutched his neck.
"I have about three minutes left before I run completely out of mana. I have been fighting for thirty minutes now, and using breakthrough has taken up a chunk of my energy already.
Already threw all I had. Went hard from the get-go, yet why doesn’t it seem to be working? What am I doing wrong?"
He could hear the sound of unhurried footsteps heading his way, hence he quickly shifted into a stance.
’... I wonder. Is this how all the opponents I defeated easily felt, even after they threw all they had? Bale... the demons... Devan... Rivock... Mada... Kira and the others. Is this how they felt? Man... I can’t help but feel bad for my past opponents now.’
Booom—!
The front part of the building exploded violently as Gustav could be seen walking into the space that looked like it was used for a living room.
"You still standing? Man... you are one heck of a persistent roach."
Grey shifted before spitting a mouthful of saliva mixed with blood to the side.
Around one hand, a lightning gauntlet could be seen crackling with fierce force.
The other hand was covered in a ki gauntlet as he slid one leg behind him.
"Oh! You wanna move to martial arts now?" Gustav questioned with a small smirk as he crouched slightly, not too low that he would be touching the ground.
Around his hands, metal gauntlets formed, humming with destructive power.
Lightning crackled around his feet, forming a pair of boots.
The wind hummed around the warrior-mage as ki flooded his legs, forming a pair of boots.
’I have always bested my opponents with brute force. Only rarely am I forced to adapt, use all I have, and continually find a way. This fight is one such one. Mum... give me strength.’
"Ready, son?"
Booom—! Boom—!
Father and son charged toward each other with explosive speed, looking like a pair of blurs immediately.
....
Outside, Gaja was holding his own against Salamander and Kaiser.
The three elemental constructs moved like blurs, attacks crashing in several directions as some of the structures in the area crumbled down into a pile of wood.
Gaja’s metal tail lashed toward Kaiser, who immediately dove downward, dodging the whole thing before Salamander swooped in with a blazing flame that hurtled toward the metal dragon.
Curling his wings in front of his face, the attack slammed into them with ground-shaking force that moved the colossal dragon backward for a few inches.
Kaiser screeched loudly, sending a colossal wind gale that clobbered into the curled wings with the force of a mountain.
Gaja was sent blasting backward, turning a house into a rain of wood and splinters.
Salamander dove downward like a meteor as hundreds of fire arrows appeared around it and then shot forward like needles.
Clang! Clang! Clang!
The fire was deflected by Gaja, who immediately burst out of the rubble.
A small glow could be seen around its wings and, with a loud crack, multiple metal spears shot forward with blazing speed.
Kaiser and Salamander were forced to dive into different areas, allowing the metallic weapons to reduce the ground below into craters.
Kicking the air violently, Salamander dove forward, and so did Gaja.
Within a second, they met in the middle with their wings lashing toward each other.
They clashed right in the center with fierce intensity that shook the air, pellets of flames spewing in all directions alongside melted metal.
Kaiser shot forward from behind with hundreds of wind spears hurtling toward the dragon from the rear.
They bounced off the dragon’s hide as if they were nothing.
Swinging its head forward, the dragon’s metal horns shot toward Salamander with blazing speed.
The fiery dragon roared and shot out a huge fireball that crashed into Gaja’s head with brutal force.
Part of its head and one of its horns melted instantly.
That didn’t stop the construct from swinging its leg forward, bashing it into Salamander and sending the fire dragon blasting away into the ground.
Spinning around, a colossal metal spear burst out of Gaja’s mouth, shooting at the wind bird with breakneck speed.
Before Kaiser could dodge, the spear ripped through the wind bird and dispelled it immediately.
Salamander shot forward with vengeful fury as funnels of flames shot forth with blazing speed.
Gaja tried to curl its wings in front of its face in time as the funnel of fire slammed into its chest, ripping a chunk of metal away.
The dragon was about to be blasted backward, but it flapped its wings once, steadying its flight immediately.
With a cartwheel spin, its wings slashed toward Salamander, ready to split the dragon in two.
At that exact moment, a clamorous boom rolled over the whole town as a structure shattered into splinters, with their creators shooting into the sky and continuing their clash there.

A/N: Hey guys... It’s me again. I’m sure you all have noticed but this book is gradually coming to an end and it won’t be long anymore before it does.
My only regrets will be that I wouldn’t be able to end it on my eighteenth birthday. So this is me informing you all down that this author’s birthday is on July 24. (I will finally be an official adult in a month) 😤🥲😅
