Chapter 215: Foundational Dismantle
Chapter 215: Foundational Dismantle
State of Harmony–Foundational Dismantle!
’What the heck was that?’ NelTara was stunned to see Torq’s attack. Subconsciously, she wanted to ask for more, however, a glance at the other party, she was struck by terror, ’Wh...who is this?’
Cold! Predatory Coldness!
Torq’s presence had morphed to become so sharp, merely sensing it caused deep gashes to form on her skin, promptly making her deactivate all of her detections means. No, not just that. She even shied away from seeing him, for even that made scratches appear on her lens.
The world around her suddenly seemed to be covered with scratches, causing blind spots. It was because of the cracks in her lens, merely as a result of staring at Torq.
A faint ringing sensation also resounded in her ear drums, like they were being torn apart by a knife. Hurriedly, she shut her senses away from Torq and made some distance between the two, ’Scary! Too scary!’
’Is this his actual strength?’ Instinctively, she shuddered, feeling as if she was walking beside a predator that could turn upon her at any moment.
The sensation only lasted for a few seconds, causing her to relax once she heard a soft exhale from Torq. And then, that terrifying presence vanished.
"L-Let’s retreat first." Fyorbuntra broke out of his reverie and erected a wall using Rocky Intimidation, which made it hard for the Garrinchs to temporarily chase after them, for their muscles felt soft and weaker.
The Potential Squad quickly raced up the winding paths and arrived on the surface, at which point FyorBuntara bellowed, "The Boot Squad has been wiped out by a Unity user!"
"I see," A 1-Life Stage Wean Clansman responded promptly and sent a body down the tunnel. Exactly a minute later, his 9-Life Stage stack collapsed upon the ground and coughed up blood, feeling his Prana vaporising out of his body while failing to mend his injuries.
"It’s a Unity user!" He declared as the Empyrean Boar Aurora in the sky rapidly descended into his body like a torrent, forcefully elevating his strength while shielding his Prana from the radioactiveness pervading his being through the soul.
"No, stop it!" He suddenly shouted upon feeling his Prana and lifespan being rapidly being influenced by the power behind the radiation, which seemed to be using his body as an entryway into corrupting the aurora, "You’re only supplying more power to the enemy."
The Empyrean Boar Aurora retracted itself in response, as the Wean Clansman writhed on the floor, hurriedly chucking out a Vara Information Slip in response, "I’ve recorded the function of that bastard’s Unity in this."
"Be careful when using our aurora. The enemy’s Unity is capable of hijacking it." He said and plopped dead. His cells began to rapidly die one after another and grow rotten in response, fully negating the capabilities of his Prana.
Generally, whether it be on Sumatra or Nusantara, corpses remained fresh as long as there was a trace of Prana remaining in it. They didn’t decompose even after that. And typically, when not consumed by a Pranic Beast, moss or other plant matter would cover them and use them as nutrients to further their growth.
The rule established by Prana is that any living matter in a Continent should be able to hold at least a single unit of Prana in them. The mind aspect of Prana basically rules out all microorganisms from existing on these Continents.
Plants generally have at least a unit’s worth of Prana in them. That’s how they manage to exist. Though, that’s generally their limit, as they don’t have any information processing organs like the brain to sport a mind.
Hence, without a mental aspect, a unit or so of Prana is generally their bearing capacity.
Sigh!
Staring at the corpse of the Wean Clansman who had begun to rot, Fyorbuntara could only sigh, ’Someone at the 10-Life Stage lost their life from a mere exposure to an Unity’s radiation.’
’Against everything else, we’re superior. The State of Harmony used here is inferior to the ones I’ve witnessed back home.’ He grumbled, ’Our only problem is the Unity. Without a Unity of our own, we cannot guard against the opponent’s Unity.’
Body, Mind, and Soul, the three Natures from the three respective paths in order have to be fused into a singular whole. That creates the power of Unity.
However, Sumatra Continent only followed the Mind Path. They had an insane amount of advantages due to exclusively following the Mind Path, such as managing to birth the Celestial Boar, an existence only five Developed Continents managed to birth across the universe.
Sumatra was still a developing Continent in that regard, and somehow already had a Celestial. That wasn’t all, the sheer growth speed of theCelestial Boar was so alarming, it could actually catch up to the Celestial Rotocok in a few Centuries.
After all, the Celestial Boar had the capability to turn any creature he consumes into a Tangible Nature and eventually elevate it into a Treasure. And with a limit of 100, he had the capability to carry and wield the power of 100 Major Treasures in total.
In essence, it could be considered that he can wield 100 different States of Unity simultaneously. That’s the absurdity of the existence known as the Celestial Boar, which is why no enemy from Nusantara dared to target him without prior preparation.
After all, any half-assed attack will merely strengthen the Celestial Boar, adding one more Major Treasure to his arsenal.
"Unity..." FyorBuntara recalled all the information he had in regards to a State of Unity and eyed Torq, "How did you do that?"
’That Garrinch was clearly someone who could use a State of Unity! How did GaraBuntara kill him so casually?’ He wondered and eyed the individual in question.
"It’s a method unique only to me." Torq shrugged a subtly, his presence carrying the Empyrean Rhully’s presence gathered in his eyes, which caused cracks to appear in the lens of FyorBuntara, "You can’t handle it."
"Fine," FyorBuntara didn’t wish to argue, especially in the vicinity of the mound’s entrance. "You’ll be explaining your methods to the Ancestor."
"That’s an order!" Saying so, he rallied up the Potential Squad members, "We’re returning to Burtn City!"
Throughout the return journey, Torq was silent, not by choice, as in his vision, pretty much none of his squad members were visible. ’Dammit! The influence has gotten worse even though I only used it once!’
"How does it feel to live in my stead," Running beside him was Runthral, his expression exceptionally foul, as if he had made a smoothie of poop and had drunk a barrel of it, "My selfish brother?"
